An Act to amend section six of the act, approved the twenty-first day of June, one thousand eight hundred thirty-nine (Pamphlet Laws 376), entitled "An act providing for the election of Aldermen and Justices of the Peace" by further providing for the giving of bonds by justices of the peace and aldermen and regulating the amount of money to be handled by such officials.
