Short Title:
AN ACT regulating the improvement and maintenance of public highways in the several townships of this Commonwealth providing for the appointment of a State Engineer of highways defining his powers and duties and fixing his compensation making county surveyors county engineers of highways providing for payment of their compensation and expenses by their respective counties as also for the payment of certain damages by said counties regulating the selection of township supervisors defining their powers and duties and fixing their compensation making an appropriation for the improvement of highways and providing for its distribution among the several townships of the Commonwealth and repealing all laws inconsistent herewith
