Short Title:
An act to amend an act approved the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen (Pamphlet Laws six hundred and seventy-two), entitled "An act relating to and regulating motor vehicles and vehicles trailing after or propelled by motor vehicles controlling their speed upon the public streets and highways in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania providing for their registration and licensing of certain operators by the State Highway Department prohibiting the operating of any motor vehicle by any person when intoxicated or without the consent of the owner forbidding the passage of any law laying a tax upon or requiring the registration of motor vehicles or licensing of any operator or regulating the speed of motor vehicles by any county, borough, city, incorporated town or township establishing the rights of motor vehicles upon the public highways with relation to other vehicles providing for their equipment and for the width of tires to be used upon motor vehicles and vehicles trailing after or propelled by motor vehicles regulating the service of process and proceedings in actions for damages arising therefrom providing for arrest and for service of process and proceedings for violation of this act prescribing the penalties therefor and providing for the disposition of the fees collected and fines imposed thereunder," providing for the return of one-half of the license fees from registration to the several cities, boroughs and counties to be used for highway purposes.
