Short Title:
An act relating to assessments for State, county, borough, township, school and poor purposes in counties having a population of less than one hundred and fifty thousand inhabitants creating a Board of County Assessors providing for their nomination and election and the filling of vacancies in such office prescribing their powers and duties, fixing their salaries; providing for the appointment of clerks to the board and for their salaries; abolishing triennial assessments and establishing a system of quadriennial assessments; imposing certain powers and duties upon county commissioners; abolishing the office of borough, ward and township assessor as the same relates to the assessment of property for taxation purposes and providing penalties.
