Short Title:
An Act amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P. L. 30), entitled "Public School Code of 1949," increasing the term of office of treasurers of school districts, providing for the collection of taxes, establishing the office of superintendent of schools and assistants and the manner of the election, providing for the reorganization of school districts, creating a commission, abolishing county boards of school directors and certain offices, discontinuing certain district boards of school directors and district offices, providing for the election of school boards in reorganized school districts, levying certain taxes in reorganized school districts, providing for the debts and assets of existing school districts and making an appropriation.
